I love this stuff! I'd really love to improve my photography. Maybe this will help!
This week, Aimee had us play with our aperatures. I headed over to the 'Secret Garden' and snapped a few. Here's one for now:
(aperature 3.2 shutter speed 1/2500) Loved focusing on those little buds and blurring out the background with my wide aperature.
Digital frame is "Botanical Frames" from Kate Pertiet at Designer Digitals. I just added their link to my sidebar. Awesome digital stuff on that sight. And I'm not even a digital scrapper!
More photos later from this wonderful, magical garden.

Tried my hand at altering those cute little letters:
Paper is Basic Grey that I wet, wrinkled, ironed, and inked. Cute little Primas, too.
Here's a cute way of dressing up a double frame. I love the pic of my sweetie in her 3-year old birthday hat. I took the hat, cut a piece out of it, added a little doggie quote, and a tag that journals about her extreme patience with me that day. The ribbon is right from the hat also.
And here's a layout I did for a Scrapbooks.com guest design team spot:
This was part of a round robin. I was supposed to be the last scrapper in the round robin, scrapping my layout based on a layout by the talented Peg Manrique.
They fooled me though and used one of my layouts as the starting point also:
Really surprised me and cracked me up, too. You can see the whole round robin challenge right here:
http://scrapbooks.com/blog/lview/406.html Such a great and talented group of ladies on that site.
I've always wanted to try a round robin and it was such a blast doing one. You've gotta check out the great challenges on Scrapbooks.com - you never know when you may get that Guest DT spot - it's tons of fun!
I also took a class from the wonderfully talented and enthusiastic Chris Dodaj at Express Yourself in Bethel. What a B-L-A-S-T! Met Janet Perafan-Babar (a frequent poster on the boards) who drove from New Jersey just for the class! This was Chris' first class and you would have never known it. She's a natural for sure! Teach more classes at Express Yourself Chris!!!!!
